Integron tube has gone through a process where the surface of the tube is extended by grooving. It is sometimes referred to as low finned tubing.
The tube has a spiral groove indented into the tube. The process uplifts a section of the material – usually carbon steel, copper or copper alloy
– which increases the surface and contact area of the tube by a factor of 2.5 times.
Tubes from 5/8” diameter to 1” diameter are suitable for this process, but some minimum quantities do apply.
